Congratulations to our very own Julie A. Dugan who is now a Registered Civil Mediator after completing the appropriate training course and being approved by the panel earlier this year. Julie is uniquely positioned to mediate civil cases having experience on both the defense and Plaintiff’s side of cases for 25 years. She is well-respected by her peers even having been selected by them to serve on panels to settle cases even prior to formally going through such training to do so. Her vast knowledge of the law coupled with her ability to analyze all sides of an argument make her effective in bringing cases to resolution.

Julie A. Dugan graduated from Lake Central High School summa cum laude in 1992. She then went on to Hanover College before attending law school at the University of Cincinnati, where she graduated magma cum laude in 1999.  Thereafter, Julie returned to her roots in northwest Indiana to raise her two daughters around family.  Julie's background in human and civil rights, including founding the Model United Nations Chapter on her college campus, interning for Amnesty International and studying at the Goethe Institute in Germany, have gained her unparalleled compassion for her client’s plight.   She takes great pride in championing a fight for those who may not be able to fight for themselves by focusing her practice in worker's compensation and personal injury litigation.
