BioKevin C. Smith was born in Hammond and comes from a region family--his mom from Indiana Harbor and his dad also from Hammond. Since being admitted to practice law in Illinois and Indiana State and Federal Courts in 1994, he has always worked in firms representing injured people.
Kevin left Northwest Indiana area to attend college in Philadelphia at the University of Pennsylvania. Following earning his degree, he completed his legal studies at DePaul University School of Law.
Kevin’s concentration is in trial work, civil litigation and criminal defense. Kevin is also available to practice in business, real estate and corporate law. Kevin also represents the City of Hammond and the Hammond Port Authority on numerous municipal issues. Kevin is married and keeps busy with his three young boys. He is an active member of the American Association for Justice and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.
