Members of the Rubino Ruman team have worked in the construction field and are proud to have on going relationships with some of the local unions in Northwest Indiana. Through our experiences, we have developed respect and appreciation for the work that is accomplished through the construction trades, ironworkers, boilermakers, and operating engineers.

Unfortunately their jobs can be very dangerous. Some companies ignore rules and force our workers to work in conditions that are unsafe. Workers are faced with the ultimate dilemma: work despite the danger or don't get paid. Often, these hard working friends are seriously injured or killed because a company either (1) did something to make the job more dangerous or (2) failed to do something it should have done to make the job safer. If either is the case, the guilty company and its insurance company are accountable for the consequences of its wrongdoing.

Construction work sites rarely are controlled by one employer. Often, there are several different independent contractors working at the same time.
