Carla K. Pyle grew up in east Texas, where her father is a minister and her mother a school teacher/dyslexia specialist for the Texas Public School System. After graduating summa cum laude from East Texas Baptist University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, Carla moved to the Northwest Indiana area
Ms. Pyle came to the region to attend law school at Valparaiso University School of Law. She graduated magna cum laude from Valparaiso and was admitted to the Indiana bar in 2005. While attending law school, Ms. Pyle took class honors in Family Law Practicum and Children Law.
Carla and her husband currently live in Crown Point, Indiana. In her time outside of working with Rubino Ruman, Carla volunteers for the children's department of her local church.
