Adam SediaAdam J. Sedia

Bio

Adam J. Sedia has deep local roots: he was born and raised in Lake County, Indiana; his father sits as a magistrate in the Juvenile Division of the Lake Superior Court; and his mother hails from a prominent Calumet City, Illinois family. Adam's impressive educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in chemistry, a BA in English with a minor in Spanish. He concluded his undergraduate studies in four years, graduating from Indiana University in 2006 with honors.

Mr. Sedia continued his education at the DePaul University College of Law, where he graduated with a certificate in Intellectual Property law with a focus on patents. While attending law school, Mr. Sedia served on a law journal editorial board, was research assistant to Professor John F. Decker, and worked for GE=s in-house patent counsel in Niskayuna, NY.

Among Mr. Sedia's numerous achievements, he authored an oft-cited article published in the Fall 2007 edition of the DePaul Journal of Art, Technology, and Intellectual Property Law. In 2009, Mr. Sedia was admitted to the Indiana bar, and has also been admitted to Federal practice in the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the Northern District of Illinois, and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
